Last few weeks have been absolutely mental: starting a new job, business presentation, Capoeira event, my mum coming over to visit. By the time my mum left the house looked like someone picked it up, flipped it upside-down and shook it like a snow globe. In order to restore some normality Noam brought in a cleaner, because for her normality means a clean home (which is ironic, as normally our house is a goddanm mess). When I got home from work today I noticed two things: first, the house indeed was cleaner than I've ever seen it. The second was a whole list of new rules and regulations put in place to keep the house at its now singularity point. No shoes in the house, no dishes in the sink, I'm not even allowed to pet my dog indoors(!). I'm going to sleep now and hope I'm allowed to sleep in my bed. I do make quite a mess when I sleep.
