Noam has had quite a hard time with the Independence Day celebrations. Not due to the act of celebrating, but for the lack of it. See, in order to even know that it's Israel's birthday you have to go through a lot of effort and still be a million miles from how it is in the holy land. I was trying to explain what it's like during the two-day events in Israel - the street parties, the shows, the picnics. Yet contemplating over my own experience with Independence Day celebrations they always bring back mostly anger, frustration and the general feeling that I want someone to die. Usually that asshole kid who think spraying people in the eyes is the funniest thing in the world.
