Reverse Colonialism

Reverse Colonialism

It's not like me getting political (not in here, anyway) but sometimes I simply can't hold it in.

We had a lecture about colonialism and ways the rulers striped the locals from their culture and history. Obviously Israel was quickly mentioned (because we heard about the Israeli empire), but my problem started when the lecturer presented the anti-Muslim movements in Europe as colonial oppression, exampled by the burka restrictions in Belgium and France. Colonial oppression? Really? Last time I checked Paris wasn't the capital city of Algeria. Has PC gone so far that integration became another word for oppression? My house, my rules. Seems fair enough.

Don't worry, there is an alternative.
