Like in any big city, parking is always an issue. Coming home back from work, or even a quick trip to the shop can earn you an extra half an hour in the car looking for parking.
With Noam's car things are a little more complicated. We can only park on our street after 5pm unless we pay-and-display. We can't park in any other street as we are are not permit holders. we can park on the opposite street but have to hope the pay-and-display machine is still out of order. we can park all day next to the church but that's 15 minutes walk. We can park next to Noam's mum's house so sometimes she goes there to work until 5, when she can come home and park here.
Boring? That's our whole life. Sometimes we need to wake up early on Saturday morning just to move the car or put more money in, it's like having a 2 Tons baby that we have to keep on the street. We own a flat! Why can't we park a car?? I think one comes with the other, but the Borough of Barnet thinks differently.
