Dvir VS Dvir. Success Story

Dvir VS Dvir. Success Story

It took me a long time to think of a strip for my big brother. Then, instead of figuring what to write him, I tried to figure out WHY is it so hard. I've eventually come up with a simple conclusion: I just really care what he thinks.
See, growing up in his shadow was a tough job. When I started drawing he was already a straight A student. When I published my first strips to small teen magazine, he was editing it. Me studying in London is hardly a big deal for my family, since he has already got a full scholarship to NYU almost 5 years prior. Now, as I run my own successful online blog (and when I say successful I mean about 30 hits a day), he left the position of vice-editor of a huge entertainment magazine to be the editor of another.

I'm just glad to be a part of my brother's success story, even if only by association.

Happy birthday Nims!

  1. you were NEVER in his shadow!!! you are as unique as he is and I'm very very very proud of you, but I'm glad that you care what he thinks...I'm sure that he cares what you think, so go on, tell him!! (somebody should do it...)

  3. This is so heart-warming. Much better than you hitting each other and spitting each other like in the old Varig in London. The only thing left now is for you all to come visit us and have one big party for all our birthdays together
