A Winning Argument

A Winning Argument

It sucks being sick when you're old. It's not like you get to stay home whilst your mummy makes you soup. You feel guilty because you don't go to work AND you have to make your own damn soup.

Noam was working from home and took care of me, and as the day progressed  I realized that any request, as silly as it may be, will be granted as long as it ends with a cough. I'm not suggesting using it as a form of manipulating loved ones, but I just love the idea that sickness has peaks, like some kind of explosive moment of fever rendering you unable to clean, cook or do any other task.

  1. Just wait until you have kids and you are so sick you can't lift your head from the pillow. The kids still need to be fed and taken to school. No one else will do that. You have to drag yourself out - for them. And you have to make your own soup! Oh - sorry - My mistake - that's if your the mom. You're a guy - you'll play sick in bed and Noam will take the kids out and make you soup.
